Venue, accommodation, registration and visa

        The SDIMI 2017 conference venue is Xijiao Hotel at the address of No 18 Wangzhuang Road, Hai Dian District, Beijing, China, as shown on the map and subway lines (also downloadable from the Downloads page of the conference website).
        Xijiao Hotel is a state-owned convention complex, located in the vicinity of Zhongguancun area which is often referred to as China's Silicon Valley, adjacent to the well known university campuses such as China University of Mining and Technology Beijing, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing Language and Culture University, Tsinghua University, and Peking University, and close to the Beijing Olympic Park with the scenic spots and recreational trails of Beijing National Stadium (Bird's Nest), Beijing National Aquatics Centre (Water Cube), Beijing Olympic Tower (Five Nails Tower), and Beijing Olympic Forest Park.

        Accommodation and reservation:SDIMI 2017 participants are encouraged to reserve their hotel rooms from now on to May 31, 2017 to enjoy the substantially discounted SDIMI 2017 rates.         Registration and fee payment: To attend the SDIMI 2017 conference, you are required to register for an online account at the SDIMI 2017 website. Before your logging in at the first time, you need to register with your email address as the user name, setting your password, creating your account, and receiving an automatically sent email with your account activation code (case sensitive) for logging in. Then, you are ready to log in onto your account for inputting or updating your information, submitting your abstract or full paper, confirming/committing yourself to the Category of Participation as appropriate, and enjoying other relevant services.
        This SDIMI 2017 LogIn/Register function is built for desk-top or portable computers only, and it is not tailored for any other types of mobile devices.

        Fee category and rate - The SDIMI 2017 registration categories and rates in Chinese currency (RMB¥) or equivalent amount of US Dollar (US$) or Canadian Dollar (CAN$) are shown in the table below (Note: The early bird and regular rates in Payment Option A and B expired, and only onsite rate in Payment Option C is availabe.).

        The full registration payment includes welcome reception dinner on June 25, conference banquet dinner on June 26, buffet dinner on June 27, three buffet breakfasts and three buffet lunches from June 26 through June 28, coffee breaks, printed program guide, and peer reviewed electronic proceedings on USB key (unless otherwise specified).
        Each registration fee payer may be entitled to two or three paper presentations at the conference but at most only one paper inclusion/publication in the electronic proceedings. In other words, papers by the same author/group of authors must be paid on a one-to-one basis for multiple inclusions/publications in the proceedings.
        On site payment - The registration fee can be paid on site by credit card (or cash in Chinese currency RMB¥) at rates as shown above. Credit card brands acceptable for SDIMI 2017 on-site registration include American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and JCB.
        Advanced payment - The registration fee can also be paid in advance at lower rates. You may make payment by wire transfer or online.
        To pay your registration fee to University of Science and Technology Beijing in RMB¥ or US$ by wire transfer, please email your name, your SDIMI 2017 online registration number, your applicable registration category and payment rate, your affiliation and address to SDIMI 2017 Secretariat at sdimi2017@ustb.edu.cn.         In addition, you may choose to pay online. Canamaple Academia Services as the contracted SDIMI 2017 publisher and partner will be responsible for issuing SDIMI 2017 registration invoices and collecting the payments online. You may make your payment in CAN$ or US$ by Interac e-transfer or PayPal. Please email your name, your SDIMI 2017 online registration number (and paper ID if any), your applicable registration category and payment rate, your affiliation and address to Dr. Steve Zou at press@camdemia.ca with CC to SDIMI 2017 Secretariat at sdimi2017@ustb.edu.cn. A personalized invoice will be sent to you directly and you will be required to make payment by the deadlines.         You are also advised to email a note with your amount paid and the confirmation number of payment to those two email addresses after your successful payment.
        Paper publication only - Those who register/select their Category of Participation as To Publish a Paper without Attendance MUST have their paper publication fees paid in advance by no later than May 31, 2017, or the unpaid papers will not be included in the SDIMI 2017 Proceedings.
        Cancellation - A cancellation fee at 25% of your payment before May 31, 2017 or 50% after June 1, 2017 will be charged.

        Visa and invitation: You may be required to secure a Chinese visa and other documents for traveling to the People's Republic of China. Processing of those documents often takes several weeks and you are advised to apply for visa as soon as possible.         You may send us a letter including your complete address and contact information, and your intention and purpose to present a technical paper with its title, give an invited/keynote speech with its title or take part in the conference in other ways to request an invitation letter for assisting your visa application.
